Mesh is a qualified health and safety practitioner with a broad and varied background in enforcement (former HSE Inspector), an encyclopaedic knowledge of health and safety legislation and strategies for achieving compliance. He has experience in inspecting, auditing and designing all types of venues, events, stunts, extreme sports, and expeditions, etc.
Particular expertise involves project management of all types of events in the UK and overseas, inspections of venues and events, the production of and implementation of risk assessments and safety documentation. Mesh has unrivalled experience of liaising with Licensing and Enforcing Authorities, the Management of all types of venues, blue light services and others stakeholders.
Mesh is well known in the Event Safety World having managed large and small events in the UK and overseas. He has been involved with and been the Lead Safety Consultant for many events, including (amongst others) The London Marathon and London 2012 Olympic Games (Head of field of play and start and finish for all road events)
Mesh has undertaken many audits for Insurance companies, Football grounds, Royal Parks, and venues such as Battersea Power Station. He has also written numerous types of licences and permits for the U.K. and internationally. These include Public Entertainment Licenses, Temporary Event Notices, Event Permits, Work Permits and Section 30 permits (Westminster City Council Building Control).
